New underlayment finally installed. Next up, sanding. Then dry fitting tiles before laying them out.

Old floor gone, though some of the old paper remains. Next up, cement backer board.

2nd Kitchen project underway. Replacing cabinets with open shelves. Found a bat skeleton.

Birthday present from Mom.

3rd branch not shown but it may have wrecked the joist over the back bedroom. All in all, could’ve been a lot worse. Had the entire tree fallen, the entire back half of the house would’ve been damaged.

2nd downed branch. This one took out part of the fence. I never liked that fence anyway.
